Matt Yoga For Veterans Do you know a service member who could benefit from yoga? Donation classes offered for current and past Military Veterans. Veterans who practice this type of yoga report better sleep, improved focus and concentration, less anger, and overall felling of well being which is vital to our lives. PTSD robs Veterans of the ability to be at peace and this system is proven to help manage hyperarousal and re-experiencing symptoms. Based on the Mindful Yoga Therapy model, this class is a clinically tested program including five practices: Yoga breathing, Yoga postures, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Gratitude. Each practice is a tool Veterans can use to cope with Post Traumatic Stress, and together, they form a comprehensive system that will carry Veterans into a life of strength and resilience.
